Elkhorn Road South - from eight to seventeen miles south of Boulder. Grading work in progress. Expect detour, loose gravel, reduced speed to 35 mph, pilot cars, gravel surface, rough roadway surface, single lane traffic, traffic controlled by signal lights. Flaggers will be used to move large equipment across the roadway. Culvert installations with temporary detours. Motorcycle advisory signs are in place. Large equipment running for five (5) miles of the project. Single lane traffic during working hours. Motorcycle and truck advisory signs are in place.

Due to construction on HWY69 between Cardwell and Boulder it may be adviseable to take HWY287 North between Threeforks to Helena, then take 15 South to Basin

For all those folks going to the ride in Basin over the Labor Day weekend, we have a potluck dinner on Saturday night in the community hall at the Merry Widow Campground. Dale Hert reserved 20 spots for our club members in that campground, and there are 3 spots left, so if you need one please call him. So far the menu list for the potluck is as follows: we will have meat balls, lasagna, beef bits, tater tot casserole, and scalloped potatoes. Please call me at my home number (252-7579) or cell (670-2194) so we can coordinate on any further menu items. We decided to do this ahead of time so we don't get so many duplicate foods. If you have any other questions, please call me. If anyone is interested, we will sometimes get together on Sunday morning for a community breakfast, and we have also done an ice cream social on Sunday night.
